Daniel Roebuck is a prolific Hollywood actor, who has been cast as Grandpa in Rob Zombie’s version of “The Munsters.”

He splits his time between LA and Tampa, and as a lifelong horror movie fan, he has a vast collection of movie memorabilia.

Vū at USF launches students in the world of virtual production

Diamond View Studios and Vū Technologies gave University of South Florida’s Zimmerman Advertising Program state-of-the-art technology that will help students build new-digital-world skills and prepare them to excel in video production. The gift includes an LED volume wall inside the university’s advertising building. Diamond View and Vū owner, Tim Moore, is a USF alum and presented the gift to the students and faculty.

Cheers to the premiere of “Tampa Beer: Crafting the Bay”

Visit Tampa Bay and Film Tampa Bay partnered to bring the community together at the historic Tampa Theatre to celebrate beer and Tampa’s long and unique history with it. The craft beer industry is one of the largest tourism drivers to the Tampa Bay Area, and we were proud to present a film that highlights those successes, with a Q&A featuring local brewers and the filmmaker. Tampa Beer: Crafting the Bay will be streaming soon, stay tuned.

Film Tampa Bay Presents, an all-new quarterly series

Last month, we joined Tampa Theatre to kick off their Nightmare on Franklin Street series in October. The screening of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It brought horror fans from far and wide to the historic movie palace to meet the stars of the film! Eugenie Bondurant and Paul Wilson (both Tampa Bay residents) signed autographs beforehand, and stayed after for an in-depth Q&A led by the Tampa Film Commissioner, Tyler Martinolich.

This is the first of the new “Film Tampa Bay Presents” quarterly series, a partnership between Film Tampa Bay and Tampa Theatre that offers free community screenings for films with a local touch. Whether it’s local talent, locations, crew…we offer the community a chance to come out and support local filmmakers at one of the most gorgeous theaters in the world.
