A local nature favorite, Secrets of the Zoo: Tampa, will be filming new episodes according to Lowry Park Zoo. The series follows the Lowry Park Zoo‘s team as they care for Tampa’s most exotic animals. Viewers get a peek behind the curtain at how the dedicated staff rescues and rehabs animals in need. The show has gained popularity among viewers on Disney + in the US and abroad.
Two new episodes were dropped over Memorial Day weekend following a marathon of previously aired episodes. The first two episodes of season six’s Secrets of the Zoo: Tampa, has ZooTampa team welcoming its first female giraffe and a sun bear goes to the dentist. The final two episodes of season six are expected to air sometime at the end of the year.
NatGeo Wild is available on the ABC network, Hulu, and Disney+.
